About this lesson
When your road test is coming up, practice needs to look like the test. We run a timed mock test using the skills described in the Manitoba Driver's Handbook, then coach the items that cost you marks. We prepare you for the test; MPI examiners conduct and score the official road test.

Pre-drive check
Signals, lights, mirrors and seat — the checks an examiner may ask about.

Mock test drive
About 25 minutes of continuous driving with no coaching, just like test day.

Manoeuvres
Parallel parking, reversing, hill parking and a three-point turn where safe.

Scored debrief
We go through your score sheet, item by item, with a short replay of each error.

Targeted practice
The remaining time goes on the two or three habits most likely to affect your result.
